This type of house in Spain is called a Duplex. That simply means it has two floors.
Seen here it is the one in the middle with the open door.
The front patio leading into the garden, is on the shady side. In the summer this is absolutely essential! (But if you prefer sun, then you can sit in the garden or use the back patio on the road side.)
On the ground floor there is a lounge/diner with TV (including BBC, ITV, Ch4 and Ch5 etc. on Sky in English) and an MP3-CD Player. The settee in the lounge is convertible so can be used to sleep a seventh occupant.
The dining table extends so can easily seat everyone.
The kitchen is fully equipped with fridge/freezer, microwave, oven/grill and ceramic hob. There is also a cloakroom with toilet and washing facilities; and a utility room with a washing machine and outside hot/cold shower to wash off beach sand.
Upstairs there are three bedrooms (a double and two twins) and a bathroom with bath/shower.
Leading off from the master bedroom there is a delightful balcony looking out over the pool and gardens, for that early-morning breakfast in the sun.
On the road side of the house there is the back patio for the afternoon sun, with space to park your car behind locked gates should you so wish.
